this post is sponsored by Wayfair but the thoughts and opinions are my own.

With the new house, our old light set up just wasn’t going to work. We needed to think through how we were going to decorate our house this year and thanks to Wayfair and a $250 giftcard we figured it out pretty quick!
I knew we were going to keep it simple this time. I always envisioned a big large wreath to hang on our doormer as the statement decoration. Wreaths, can be super expensive and the fact I was hoping to find one that is 48″ in diameter I figured would break the bank but Wayfair had a variety to choose from! This Norwood Fir is the perfect focal piece right above the garage is on sale and under $150!
I also ordered some faux holiday swag – typically used for mailboxes and such but I thought they would be perfect to go on our columns with our gas lanterns. They tie around the lantern just right and add just enough sparkle closer to the street.

I love people that go all out, but our new house has a unique elevation being mainly our garage, so I wanted it to have a sweet gingerbread house appeal. Decorating doesn’t need to be stressful or expensive. The boys love the lights and wreath, in particular, lights up the driveway at night for after dark brother races and play sessions.
Overall, I’m SO pleased with the holiday decor this year – Wayfair was nice and quick to ship and it feels good to get this holiday season underway!
