This post is sponsored by Wente Vineyards but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.
When Wente Vineyards reached out about a collaboration, obviously I was intrigued. We’ve worked together before and the wine they produce is delicious. And since most of last year I was pregnant with Palmer it’s nice to be able to enjoy some wine from time to time now but that wasn’t the theme for this campaign.

Wente Vineyards is asking folks to #Maketimepledge – to take time to learn something new, cultivate and pursue your passions, maybe go outside your comfort zone. They are encouraging people to MAKE TIME for things they wish they did more of. Wente Vinegards is just along for the ride.

For me, it was two-fold – get some quality ME time, but also explore and engage with our community. I rummaged and socialized with a local small business and all their greenery and took a second (okay 30 mins) for myself. I shared some wine with old friends and left with two cute new plants and a sense of gratitude. It doesn’t take much to break from the norm, get a little creative and do something out of a routine to leave you feeling invigorated.
Living in Winter Park, I’m grateful for the small business that leave a large impact but also make you feel special. Just like Wente Vineyards who is the country’s oldest, continuously operated family-owned winery, founded in 1883. How cool is that?!

Since having Palmer, my priorities have shifted a bit – taking care of yourself is the hardest and usually the last thing you do after having a child. I’ve been giving Palmer and Hudson everything I have. It’s time to slowly make a pledge to do a few things for me – yoga, girl’s night, learn something new and visit cool places.
