Making Most of Summer

As August was quickly approaching so is the notion that Hudson will be starting 1st grade soon! So we wanted to take an extra long weekend and do something fun and summery with the kids – so we packed up the GTI (my car was still in the shop) and we drove down to Palm Beach to stay at the Four Seasons there right on the beach.

Let me just say – what a lovely stay! From the resort, to the staff, to the food/drinks, weather and overall accommodations it was such a wonderful trip. One that all of us truly enjoyed!

Everyone at @fspalmbeach was extremely nice, attentive and in some cases, we felt like their only guests. With COVID still very much a thing, they were safe and made the environment feel safe, too. We couldn’t have asked for better weather and the decision between pool or beach was always such a debate.

The lounge bed options at the pool and beach were so helpful with kids – they had pool and beach toys handy and snow cones promptly at 3:30.

The beauty (or curse) of a family trip is that we all hunkered down in a room – Hudson on the pull out, P in his pack and play and us in our super cush king sized bed – but we were all in bed by 9pm. Sleep was plentiful, the meals were delicious (thought they could use some Lineage Coffee – their house coffee was meh) and let’s say we met some really rad folks from Nashville that made the trip even sweeter.

Here’s to long lasting summer memories and a vacation spot that we all can’t wait to go back to.
