Loading Leopard
It’s true, I consider leopard print a neutral. With my new Kate Spade New York Candid Camera bag and now this $25 lightweight leopard find from Target, I’m loving all the leopard additions.
It’s a classic pattern that pretty much goes with anything. I layered a simple black cami over the semi-sheer leopard top and added baggy pants (since they are my summer go to) and I thought this outfit was perfect for work meetings, happy hour and even a date night.

1 // Dax Podcast – Armchair Expert
Hello, I’m probably the last person on earth that has realized the podcast movement. Granted, I learned a lot about them at Create & Cultivate in LA a few years back, but still never actually listened to one. Well, as I was tired of of the same old jams and as my new trek to Sanford to see my sister is seriously the longest drive I ever make I decided to opened up a podcast. Dax, you are my first. And so far Armchair Expert does not disappoint. SEND ME more rec’s please! Officially podcast obsessed.
2 // Baby birthday prints by Still Novel
Palmer is SO close to turning 7 months and it’s blowing my mind. To the point where I’m already thinking about his first birthday. I saw these in a Instagram ad and bookmarked it. I think I’ll do one for each boy and hang them somewhere special in our new home.
3 // The 90’s Jean Look
I’ve been eyeing these wide leg, fitted at the waist, distressed jeans from Shopbop and Shopbop knows it because they have been serving me up an Instagram ad just about every day. I hate to say it, but the super tight skinny jeans are just not doing it for me right now. I mean it’s still CRAZY hot and all and I’d like to space in-between my legs and clothing. Anyway – here are a few styles I’m coveting right now.
4 // Tonal Bathroom Done Right
From the terracotta feel, hex print. stone tub, natural wood vanity and the sleek frosted glass on the shower door I’m ALLLL about this bathroom. Clearly.
5 // OPI x Converse
Brilliant collab – whoever thought of this deserves the money they are making being some guru marketer. And as for my favorite I think it’s a tie between the pink high top and the white platform.
Fall Pattern Play
What makes this look so great is the fact that I’m like MORE is MORE.
I’m usually all about the basics but the beauty of this gig and just being carefree is MIXING it up. Stripes, plaid, leopard, glitter. denim… I mean everything is practically in this outfit. I stayed true though and skipped the heels and this felt very very me.
The new Kate Spade New York Camera bag was the inspiration and driving force behind this whole look. It’s funky, bold and demands attention. I love how I can dress it down or dress it up. It’s a break from the standard bag color I’m used to and I’m all about it.
I’ll be repeating variations of this whole thing throughout the Fall, once it ACTUALLY cools down that is. Shooting this in 93 degree weather wasn’t the brightest idea. But stumbling into Park Ave Cds for A/C and vinyl was.

Rattan Bag Love
It took me forever to jump on this trend. I felt like they were all just crazy expensive and if they weren’t the quality just wasn’t there… but then Amerii reached out and I was floored with their rattan bag inventory and pricing!

New Home New Look
We’re doing something totally different this time around. Our inspiration for this new build is to have a light exterior body color but accent it with slate and dark gray accents.
At LunDev we do a lot of high contrast with bronze and black windows and white paint colors, but I wanted to tone it down a bit and make it all vibe and feel connected within a similar color palette. So the main body color will be a light gray (thinking Owl Gray by Benjamin Moore) with Slate Gray 6 lite windows from Windsor with matching exterior 3 lite doors.
We want the overall look of the elevation to have classic elements like gas lanterns, iron gates and a clean garage door style. All the main hardware will be black and clean – loving School House Electric options right now.
Here’s a general idea of what we’re going for the exterior of our new home:
We plan on using a lot of slate material/colors for the outside and inside but balance that out with really light oak wood flooring and lots of natural light. With this home we’ll have a few designated areas to hang out outside, like the courtyard, dining room patio and back patio with outdoor kitchen and pool. We’ll be using a mix of slate and shell lock pavers to cover those areas while still keep the landscaping lush and blending in with the soothing color palette.

Dressing for Fall While it’s Still Summer with The Odell’s Shop
Fortunate to work with brands I adore and it’s even better when they are super cute small business owners – meet the Odells.
Their stuff is super high quality with a laid back feel. When I was asked to pick some items from their Fall line I was stoked, but the kicker is it’s FAR from Fall here in Florida. So I chose this super cute, light weight, baggy jumpsuit that embodied fall by the cut and color and paired with their new mules which are INSANELY comfortable. It’s great alternative to wearing a hot fall boot when it’s still in the 90’s.
