It’s no secret that I keep my make-up routine simple.
The less products I use, the better. In the winter though, I want to maintain some natural color but it’s hard for my skin to stay hydrated in the cooler/drier months. And typically tan skin and dry skin don’t go well together. Am I right!? Plus, I know how it’s important to switch up your routine based on time of year.
When Neutrogena reached out about trying a few of their new Hydro Boost Cosmetics or the their SkinClearing Cosmetics I jumped at the opportunity. Hydrating make-up was what I knew was lacking from my routine.
I snagged their Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint and their Hydro Boost Hydrating Concealer. I don’t usually have acne problems, so I didn’t get any SkinClearing Cosmetics, but I have heard amazing things about the line.
So overall, I use like 5 products in the morning – sometimes 6, if I pull my brows into the mix.
But I start with mixing the Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint with my facial moisturizer and rub that in all over my face and neck. If I need some extra coverage (specifically under my eyes) I’ll dab the Hydro Boost Hydrating Concealer around my eyes or on a blemish and blend. Lastly, I’ll add a touch of cream blush to my cheeks, mascara to my top lashes and then I’m out the door.
I feel like the natural hydrating color of the Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint gives me an added boost of radiance and glow, which is super hard to achieve in the colder months.
