Happy Birthday, America!

I’ve always been a fan of 4th of July.
My sister was born on the 6th so we always told her the fireworks for her 🙂
Regardless if she believed us it was always a family affair.

Two July 4th’s ago – we announced we were expecting, which made the holiday weekend pretty cool.

This year though, we’re going to lay low and soak up the lack of chaos.
Nick picked out a couple new recipes and to beat the heat we’ll probably hang out by our pool.

Grateful for three-day weekends and this sweet country of ours.
