West Coast Feels

Was everyone else’s insta feed Coachella overload?!
Man, I wasn’t having any serious FOMO issues but it did make we crave the coast.
So a few hours at New Smyrna Beach was all I needed.
And no, this is not my van – although I am married to a VW lover.
So maybe one day we’ll get one.
And if you did spy that super cute bandana on my ankle – it’s a small thing you can do (if you’re into this sort of thing) where every purchase goes to J.Jill’s compassion fund which helps fellow women in times of need. More info here

Weekend Wants

The Basket Bag

It’s the go-to bag this spring.
The fun versatile grab and go basket that looks adorable next to just about anything…
I scored this beaut from a local consignment shop for $4!
But I’ve been eyeing some more.

5 Things

Stumbled upon this cute shop last week during my shoot with Abby. The guy who runs it is a Winter Park High School grad, who plans on opening up another shop near Mills 50. I’m down.
I could always use more juice/smoothie/acai bowl places in my life.
Because we all need them now and again.
The digital landscape changes so fast and there is constant room for improvement.
Like building an email list. I’ve totally let the slide and turns out, I probably shouldn’t.
The Avo and Succulent art prints are my favorite. And how cute are their magnetic wood frame kits?
Perfect for just about anything – even little kid art.

By now I’m sure you know I work for LunDev (the custom home builder who built our house) but what you might not know is that our family is super close with a fellow LunDev family.
They used to live on our street until they moved into this new beaut.
Had to share their kitchen because I’m kinda obsessed.
Jess Kirby is hands down my favorite.
Her style is so effortless yet chic and I just want to like everything she posts a million times.
Constantly inspired by this lovely and I think you will be, too.

Finders Keepers

Easter was such a blast!
I mean, exhausting, but we had our favorite peeps over for a brunch and it was egg-cellent.
Nick and I stuffed eggs the night before and decorated the yard.
I whipped up some cupcakes while Nick made everything else – a quiche, ham and fresh waffles from a brand spankin’ new waffle maker.
The kids loved the hunt and the candy. And it was just was so fun to see them run and play.
Grateful for days like yesterday.

Easter Best with American Threads

IF I were to dress up for Easter, I would consider wearing this.
It’s super playful, forgiving (I’ll eat my weight in jelly beans) and cute all at once.
I could also see wearing this at the beach with flats and a simple straw hat. That would definitely be more my speed, BUT if you need a cute little number for Easter (super last minute!) check out my friends at American Threads or at their Disney Springs location.
