My Fossil Holiday Picks

The day is FINALLY here and I can shout from the roof tops that I’ve curated all of my favorite holiday gift ideas over at Fossil.com

I still can’t believe that they asked me to participate, but I’m so honored that they did – I seriously can’t say enough wonderful things about this brand.

SO here’s the gist – I’ve picked some things that I would like (displayed below) and what others might like to help with your gift buying this year. To shop my holiday picks, head on over to my Fossil Boutique over at Fossil.com.

The Rachel Satchel – it’s got a vintage shape in the perfect shade of brown. You can wear it as a cross-body or not. It’s also the perfect size so you can carry the essentials but not over do it. It’s a sophisticated little number, that I love.

The Maya Hobo – I love the versatility that this bag brings… being a mom and always on-the-go I can have little race cars, my laptop and my clutch all packed in here. Also, it’s a great “personal item” for when you’re traveling this holiday season! Don’t forget your passport holder!

The Campbell Cross-body – the bag you didn’t know you needed. If you’re just running out for a second, or you know you’ll be in a crowded place and want a smaller bag to carry, this is it! It also comes in a few colors. I took the cross body strap off and showed how well it could be used as a clutch, too. Bag is a genie.

The Jacqueline Watch (both regular and Q!) – I love the face of this watch sooo much that I couldn’t pick between the standard watch vs. the Fossil Q version. It’s a classic timepiece with some personality. I love the navy band, soft pink face and gold touches. Any lady would love this watch. If she’s a bit more techie – try the smartwatch. The Fossil Q app is super user friendly and the customizable notifications are a sweet touch.

Now to help me celebrate, I’m giving away this Fossil grab & go jewelry box (bracelet + earrings) ! Head on over to my Instagram to enter!

Thank you so much Fossil for this amazing opportunity.

My heart is full!

5 Things

1 // Thanksgiving Tablescape

I think this is what I’m going for this year – a simple, but beautiful center piece, some artichokes and clean place settings.

2 // ’tis the Season

I love anything and everything Jenni Kayne! How I wish we had a store front here. How comfy, cozy and festive is this bed situation?

3 // Leandra’s REAL Pregnancy Announcement

Now this is a read – an honest and eye-opening look about one’s journey to become pregnant after a loss. I’ve heard that after a miscarriage everything bounces back and your body is ready more than ever to have one “stick” but that’s not always the case. We lost our first pregnancy this year in May and we’re still trying for another. I think what Leandra opened up about it super real – it’s not always easy, quick and beautiful.

I know I don’t have it that bad – I’m taking some Progesterone supplements and peeing on ovulation sticks, so what?! But to her brave point – “if there is anything I’ve learned, it is that no state of existence lasts forever.”

That’s right – I’ll be posting some items for sale over the next couple weeks. It’s a bid system by leaving your bid in the comments. Just thought it was a super simple way to share/sell my clothes without using Poshmark or even just dropping them off at the local Goodwill.

Still can’t go over this. How flippin’ amazing 🙂 Guys, seriously – their stuff is rad. A more behind the scenes look on this DREAM collab coming to the blog tomorrow!

The ONE Dress You Need This Holiday Season

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it. I’ve been a long time Sézane admirer but never really a purchaser.

I have a few Madewell x Sézane capsule pieces, but nothing pure Sézane. The brand is all about that IT French girl vibe, which I think we all (as females) would love to try to embody from time to time, which makes this line so whimsical. The detail on this dress is INSANE and the way it fits with the puffy shoulders, lace sleeve details and drop style hem waist makes it a RARE but über flattering piece that everyone needs.

This isn’t sponsored by Sézane, though I wish it was – just being a total fan girl about it and stoked to wear this repeatedly over the holiday season.

some snaps from my NYC trip last week…

#CaptionandCreate

I was honored to be apart of the last #captionandcreate workshop put on by one of my favorite photographer friends, Sydney. It was at the Downtown Credo Health Village location which is pretty sweet spot and it was my first time there.

Sydney and I have worked together before and the little community here in the Orlando area is beyond supportive of each other. The amount of time she puts in, not only for clients, but for mentoring others is actually pretty inspiring.

AND not only are the folks taking her workshops sweet as ever (it’s crazy when you have 10+ lenses in your face!) but guys, they are SO talented.

Here are some snaps from a attendee who I would say absolutely NAILED IT. Thank you for the pictures Marissa, loveeee them.

Keep it up.
