Buy more greenery
Outfit our back patio – more Summer nights outside. 
Go to the Clearwater aquarium 
At least one more west coast beach trip and one east cost beach trip. Take advantage of FL’s two coastlines 🙂
Read one new book – possibly this one
Update my cleaning supplies to natural ingredients 
Add more pieces to my Poshmark account
Try to do daily walks with my family 
Get more family photos printed – I love these options 
Infant swim lessons 
Take a full 12 hr break from my phone

Short Season

I picked up a couple pairs of shorts at AE recently…
They were buy one get one 50% off. 

And well, living in Florida you need to be friends with shorts.
I get they can be tricky and hard to shop for.

My tips are these: buy one size up (If you’re a 6, get an 8), try them on (duh) and get styles made with stretchy material. This chino pair is the perfect length, insanely comfy and a nice alternative to denim.

They had a ton of colors, which is tempting me to go back.

Skirting the Truth

Do you have a few items in your closet that you just can’t part with?
This Hollister skirt is one of mine. Yes, I said Hollister.
I worked there in high school. True story.

Diverse

I love jumpers and rompers because they are so diverse.
Wearing them alone, or over something, or heck, even under something…
This sweet sweater is just a tad short to wear with jeans, so this was a perfect way to wear it…

Motherly Musings



Even after taking thousands of photos of him on your phone, you feel bad deleting even one
To truly appreciate the convenience of bottle feeding once solid foods enter the mix
You swear you heard “dada” 
To look back at photos from when they were weeks old and think that was so. long. ago. 
Mom and baby get togethers – a total thing. 
First trip to the mall as a family and he gets more things than either one of us 
It’s okay to not be the paranoid first time mom – I’m used to dog hair, dog kisses and dining tables. And with that, we’re pro vaccinations. 
The first time they cut themselves and they bleed. You feel absolutely terrible. And n e w s flash they’re not made of puppy dog tails and butterflies. 
To be totally amazed about what they remember. Yes, here is the banister you reach for every morning.
To do everything in your power to prevent stranger danger meltdowns at home. “Don’t worry Uncle Chip, it’s the hat. Right, Hudson!?”
To take back every harsh word I’ve said under my breath about people with strollers in crowded places. It’s a crazy hard game. 

Finding cute things on sale in the girl section. Like those shorts above 😉 he’ll never know. But grocery clerk, he’s CLEARLY a boy. 

He doesn’t rule the roost – we live our lives the way we want and he’s along for the ride.
