I typically think about what I want to pack a few days in advance. With Hudson not feeling well, I thought less about packing and more about him. I literally packed the night before and I wore everything I packed except for one dress.
There were a few items that were essential for this trip, but for others too!

Perfect travel shoe, while you race through the airport to catch your connection to excursions when you make it to your destination. Plus, they are super cute.
Marysia One Piece
It’s beautiful and versatile! I have one that’s reversible so it’s two suits in one and goes perfectly with jeans or cut-off shorts when you’re not by the pool or beach.
Sweaters & Henleys
In Mexico it’s chilly in the morning and at night, so I packed a few long sleeve sweaters. Madewell’s cashmere sweater is uber soft and was a great compliment to a suit on an overcast day. The Everlane henley (pictured) is a beautiful color and was easy to toss on.
Hermes Sandals
The first time I actually got to wear these, but I loved them. Dress them up or down – a classic that goes with everything and elevates a casual look instantly!
Felt Hat
I don’t wear a ton of baseball hats, I’ll wear Nick’s from time to time, but this was not easy to travel with, but I wore it almost every day. Perfect for messy beach hair, keeping the sun off my face and it’s instantly chic.
Everlane Travel Tote
I love the camel color so much and the size was perfect. Enough for snacks, toiletries, ipad and water. The nylon material is practical and I’m pretty much obsessed with this bag now.
A variation of sunnies
I loveeee sunglasses – so I brought two.
Straight Leg Jean
A refreshing wash in a classic cut. I wore these almost everyday and the fit is perfect. Also, super affordable! Snag them from Zara for under $100!
