Our Master Bath Design

Another space I’m SO excited about.

I wanted it to feel less glam and more organic and natural. I don’t want to stress about the WHITES and really just create a space for a zen-like feel. I also wanted to add some more masculine elements like black hardware to really round out the space and make it feel more like us.

We’re taking our oak wood flooring into our vanity and tub area. Stained floating cabinets with push to open drawers will keep our vanities clean. We’ll also have wall mounted Kohler faucets and black floor mount tub filler for our large Kohler tub. We’ll have additional linen cabinets for each of us and drywall cubbies at our vanities for extra storage.

Jessie’s Cabinets will be doing our custom vanities and linen towers since they will be super sleek and custom to the space. Our friends at Ferguson helped with Kohler package so we’ll do black plumbing hardware throughout and our Caesarstone Honed Calacatta Nuvo tops.

Our master shower has been a labor of love and dream of Nick’s. It’s going to be an indoor/outdoor shower experience. We’re stoked about it and won’t reveal too much until it’s complete. We’re also keeping the heated floors in that area since we loved having them in our current house 🙂 Guilty pleasure I suppose. Truth is we had heated floors at the Wythe when we got married and I was hooked. It’s a nod to that special time too, so yeah – we’re one of the few Floridians who have them probably.

Overall, it will be an open space with lots of natural light, organic color tones and a spa retreat vibe.
