Officially Fall

We’re finally experiencing fall-like temps – 50’s in the mornings and low 80’s during the day. Last Sunday we carved a pumpkin on the front porch and it was glorious!

Comfy layers are my favorite – even with a belly – I feel like I get a bit more creative with how and what I wear when the weather is like this. It’s refreshing to and fun to bundle up! This sweater is from Amazon Fashion and I love it.

But tonight I don’t have to worry because it’s HALLOWEEN and the Gernerts are dressing up! Follow along on Insta.

She’s a lovely artist – hands down. I love following her along because she’s so whimsical but also has a sweet little fam.

I say Hudson loves Halloween – truth is, we both do – especially when it comes to the treats! I love how festive these look!

Love the warmer tones, touch of green and open doors! It’s finally the time of year when we can open our windows in Florida and let all the cool fresh air in. I’ve got my fall candles lit and I’m loving the cozy morning and evenings wrapped up in blankets on the couch.

Fall in Boca Grande

We usually go in the Summer when it’s hotter than the sun and the water is like bath water, so this trip was literally quite refreshing. It was the first taste of fall Island style with coastal winds, cool mornings and not a lot of sweat. Nick split a house rental with a colleague and we were able to get some solid family time in over his birthday.

We rented a golf cart and explored places of the island we’ve never been – with this light house/beach being one of them. We need to add an annual Fall trip to our vacation plans every year.
