When (I thought) J.Crew was having a major sale about a week or so ago, I stocked up on a few swim suits, this sweater, this ($18!) tote and these gold cross over flat sandals. I figured being in Florida and all, summer lasts awhile and these will certainly get good mileage out of it. This look is pretty patriotic, I know – somehow denim, navy and red really never go out of style.
This backdrop was perfect for this look and I was SO happy when Sydney and I stumbled upon it. Winter Park has a chain of lakes – which dock shoots are a favorite of mine, but if you want to know a crazy fact Florida has 30,000 lakes. How crazy does that sound? Surrounded by water, but also made up of a ton of water – lake and beach activities are abundant and I’m totally okay with that.
