What I’m Packing for NYFW

So first of all *PINCH* me please. 

I cannot believe I’m flying up to NYC for a few days to attend a NYFW show. Not just any show – but Kate Spade New York who turns 25 this year. Check that off my bucket list.

As I overthink everything – I mean I’m a total novice at this – I’m wrapping my head about who to see, where to eat and of course what to pack thankfully (pinch me again!) I’ve got some brands who are helping me out with that.

It’s going to be cold – like 30s/20s cold. So I need to 1) layer and 2) still look cute. Now’s the time, ya know?  But I’ll get creative as to wear a few different items a few different ways – plus, my dearest Abby will be in town so we are going shoot our little hearts out.

For the Kate Spade NY Show – something like this:

I’m in love with their new floral prints – the magnolia flowers are my favorite. I live on Magnolia and it will forever be a special bloom to me. Also, this skirt was a total risk but I am SO glad I took it. It’s literally perfection and I know it’ll keep me warm.

For meetings and blogger dates: 

Never not in a comfy pair of jeans and I love the idea of a chunky sweater mixed with a tailored blazer.

Travel days: 

Sneakers, probably the same denim (packing “light”) and another sweater – plus the Kate Spade New York trench, since I most likely won’t stuff it in my suitcase.

Photoshoot ideas: 

Hoping to get creative in the city and totally vibe off the energy. I’m thinking a long dress with jeans and boots, maybe something for Valentine’s Day (New York is full of LOVE to me) and possibly

Anything in particular that you guys would like to see while I’m in New York? Any landmarks? Outfit ideas? Simple street style posts? I’ll be doing more on Instagram stories for this trip, too – so keep an eye out.
