Life Lately – Nashville Weekend
Nashville was such a delight! Thankful for local friends, awesome recommendations and a killer festival to knock our socks off. I’m certainly paying for it now with a gnarly chest cold, but I would say it was totally worth it. Here’s a glimpse of what we did what we would recommend – we covered a lot of ground in 3.5 days!
EAT/DRINK: Mas Tacos, Biscuit Love, Gray’s on Park, 55th South, Thompson Hotel, The Factory in Franklin
COFFEE: Crema Coffee, Steadfast Coffee, 8th & Roast, Honest Coffee
SHOP: Nisolo, Fashionable, Imogene + Willie, Consider the Wildflowers, White’s Mercantile, Nashville Farmer’s Market
MUSIC: Musicians Hall of Fame, Pilgrimage Festival, Grimey’s Record Store
Current Favorites: Dark Denim + Embroidery
So it’s technically Fall, but it doesn’t feel like it. I had some high Fall hopes for Nashville that certainly came up short. Visually it was beautiful but it’s still pretty hot here in the south.
To get in the fall mood though it’s easy enough to turn to colors and rich tones – so I went to my favorite brown/black combo and this top added the right amount of color.

5 Things
1 // McGee + CO x Farmhouse Pottery
Totally fan girl over this! I’ve been following Studio McGee for awhile now – their interior design is SO good. And then Farmhouse Pottery was a must-see for me when we went to Vermont… needless to say I’m obsessed with both. Ps. Great gift idea!
Always pinning positive thoughts because we all know we need them from time to time.
3 // Parachute Home x Jenni Kayne
On the constant for new amazing bedding. I think this might collab might be the answer.
4 // Hearth & Hand coming soon to Target!
I mean – I shop their store sales all the time. A trip to Waco is definitely on my “bucket list!’ (I know, who would have thought!) So this is really rad that they are getting even more accessible.
5 // Perricone MD No Makeup Makeup Line
I’ve talked about my “no makeup” makeup look here – which uses their No Makeup Makeup Instant Blur Primer – but they have a TON of other make-up products that you should take a peek at too.
