Why I Love July

Because of this girl.

Because my parent’s gave me the greatest gift ever by bringing this amazing human being into this world. It boggles my mind actually that it’s her 29th birthday today. GUYS, my little sister is TWENTY-NINE! She’s still just as much as a handful now as she was then… Can absolutely drink me under the table, is for sure my greatest influence when I want to get another tattoo, has impeccable rhythm, a heart of gold and the ability to make friends everywhere she goes.

We’re different – like some might think polar opposite, but I think that’s what makes us so great. What makes up our friendship and ever-lasting love and admiration for each other is because we constantly help, teach and learn from each other. This girl will continue to move mountains, break barriers and make this world a better place because she is in it. And I’m the proud sister that will be right beside her 100% of the way.

As we continue to get older and figure out what matters most in life I know that I have this one to count on. Always. It doesn’t come down to the quantity of things – it really comes down to the quality and she makes my life that much more richer.

So thanks July – you’ve already made me reflect on why I think my sister is the absolute greatest and I hope you bring some additional goodness. June was a stinker.
