Rainbow

I picked up this tank top at a Target in California the Friday before the mass shooting here in Orlando.

Mostly because I just loved the colors, the cut and I was giddy about being in my home state.

Now this misely shirt means so much more to me.
It’s true I don’t see colors, I see a rainbow.

The world can be so crazy and scary at times, so in my small piece of it I’m going to smile.
I’m going to be kind.
I’m going to love.
Maybe even donate blood this week.

We all know we need more of these things.
So I’m going to start with myself.

Ritual

i wish seeing my adorable sister in CA was a ritual.
though, three times this year is definitely a record.

had a lot of fun with her last weekend.
and i’m grateful for her producer / photography skills…
oh, and that it’s the weekend already.
