Halloween Mummy Dog Family Recipe & Giveaway!

With my husband being from Polk County, Publix is pretty much his neighborhood grocery store. (Fun fact: It’s where it originated!) Coming from CA I wasn’t too partial to any one store (back there it was Safeway) but I’ll be honest, you just can’t beat a Publix.

The savings, friendly service and overall experience is just so great.

So when this opportunity came in I immediately jumped on it. Support Publix and Pillsbury?! It’s like they know me!

We started this tradition “Cinnamon Roll Sunday” which consists of Pillsbury Flaky Supreme Cinnamon Rolls and bacon (typically seen on my Instagram feed). It’s nice to take one morning a week and eat something totally delicious and not feel bad about it 😉

Now that we have a little one though I think creating these types of traditions are so important. When October rolls around and everyone gets so pumped for cooler temps, pumpkin spice lattes and boots – I would like to add the Mummy Dog recipe to that list. I think this is such a brilliant recipe – it’s easy, kid friendly, festive AND great for football! Score!! Guys, seriously I don’t cook much and these were a cinch.

Next year Hudson is going to help and well, I can’t wait! 🙂

I made our family 😀

– INGREDIENTS – 
Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls 8 oz
Publix All Beef Hotdogs
Optional:
American Cheese 
Ketchup and/or Mustard 

– INSTRUCTIONS – 
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray
Open the tube of rolls and divide them into 4 rectangles, gently pressing the diagonal perforations together
Use a pizza cutter and slice the rectangles into 10 strips, length-wise. 
Wrap each hotdog with 4 strips of dough, having them overlap. Keep one end somewhat free for eyeballs!
Place the wrapped hotdogs on a baking sheet and back 15-20 mins until golden brown. 
Wait for them to cool and then dip’em!
