Day to Night Challenge

I was asked to pick out two pairs of shoes from Kohl’s and style them from day to night…
Challenge accepted.

Since I don’t buy heels very often anymore I sprung at the opportunity.

I see this done by some of the greats and I love it. I think Song of Style does this perfectly – ripped jeans, t-shirt and some beautiful heels. I could honestly wear this on repeat every day of the week.

The simplicity of these heels are just so classy. I paired it with my LC for Lauren Conrad romper which is perfect for a girls night out.

Summer-time calls for shorts, tanks and the perfect sun hat. If you’re going to an outside event this little number could work just fine.

These heels have an amazing balance of cool detail with an everyday color. A simple dress and a messy pony is all it takes. Totally ready for date night!

And when your feet get tired, these sandals are the perfect substitute.

I heart shoes.

Pajama(ish)

Loving the white lately. Have you seen the latest J.Crew looks? Of course you have.
So when I broke out these white jeans, I wanted to balance them with a comfortable top.
It might look like it belongs to a pajama set, but I don’t care.

Heck, it’s the weekend!

Sweater It

I tend to do this layering trick a lot… you might remember this and this?
I take a dress or a romper and wear a sweater over it.
It gets so chilly in the Rifle studio that a sweater in the summer is necessary…
Plus my cute red floral romper turned into cute floral shorts for a day.
Nailed it.

Caramel

I’m all about mixing browns and blacks. I know some steer clear, but why?
It’s about being comfortable and confident.
This shirt is the perfect shade of caramel and these dark grey jeans have a hint of gentle wear.
Now all I need is DQ sundae.
