Cross Country

So, my best friend is moving.
She’s packing up her small little bedroom and heading west.
And I’m going to make sure she get’s there.

This will not only be a journey from FL to CA…
but a journey of sisterly love and it’s undeniable strength.

  1. I just moved back to California from New Orleans, and I HIGHLY recommend dinner at Jacque Imo's. Lunch at the Joint is perfect.. but do dinner at Jacque Imo's if you can. The garlic corn bread muffins, mashed potatoes, and alligator cheese cake will have you swooning.

  2. I just got back from a cross country trip myself and am about to post a total trip breakdown on my blog duzibatz.com.
Go to Acme Oyster House in New Orleans for a Softshell Crab Po Boy (it's the best one). Le Pavillon is an amazing hotel to stay as well. See a sunrise/sunset at the Grand Canyon. The Beatles LOVE show is an impressive Cirque must see in Vegas! Have fun!

  3. I hope I'm not too late on this post, but my advice — take I-40 instead of I-10. We've done both in the past few years, and I-10 get intensely boring at times (and much less populated for two ladies on the road). 40 is much more interesting and full!
